BAYONET BOY draws inspiration from the animated characters Pvt. Snafu and Private McGillicuddy, popular in 1950s military training videos, as well as Vaultboy from the Fallout Game Series. The mascot is depicted as a World War II Marine serving in the Pacific, embodying the spirited and educational style of those classic characters and as friendly reminder that all those tips still apply today in the modern battlefield.
