Old wisdom is still relevant to this day. Back when the Ukraine War first started I saw pictures of old WW1 Maxim machineguns pulled out of museums and pushed to the front lines. I know most grunts don't even know what that is or how to even operate it. Teach yourself the basics in peace before you have to learn in the frontlines.
