This Journal is mainly meant for you to write your workouts at the gym and be able to track progress.
Or you can easily use this as a normal Journal to take notes. Pages are precut so you can easily tear a page out if needed.
I love taking notes as much as I can as i've seen it immensely helps me remember information and keep myself accountable whenever motivation and dicipline are lacking. I hope you dont just stash this journal in a shelf somewhere. Its meant to be written on -and get beat up.
Do not be fooled by meme pages, recruiters, the garrison cult.. etc. The primary purpose of the Marine Corps is to kill people. It is not to wear pretty uniforms, perform drill, make workout videos etc. If it isn't something that makes you more lethal, it's secondary to something that does.
You will hear talk about Marines not deploying, or nay sayers saying a deployment on ship or to the Pacific isn't real. These comments often come from our own ranks. Ask yourself - who poses the greatest national security threat to the United States.
The Marine Corps is gearing up for the big fight. If you are telling today's Marines they will never see Combat, they don't need to take training seriously, and their time away from family doesn't 'count', YOU are the problem.
If you're a senior leader who can recite MCO 1020.34H but not MCDP-1, reassess yourself. If you can tell Marines where exactly their boots should be bloused but not how to pack a ruck, there's an issue.
If you are a Marine of any rank, who can take time to make workout, inspirational videos, or memes, but you can't tell me the difference between an Attack position and an Assault position - haze yourself.
It's not about the ribbons on your chest or the rank on your collar, what will matter is the competency of your profession. (And if you use our profession for clout and solely for personal gain, you're an embarrassment to the organization."
