Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes...

Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes...

FIX-BAYONETS... a radical concept, requiring unconventional behavior. But something you're going to have to do to get out of the undesirable position you're in.

This is not an easy maneuver. It's a little (maybe a lot) unnerving to go for something really big, and the natural tendency is to turn to your most familiar habits and patterns. Or leave it up to someone else...

But the choice is yours, and only yours to make. Stay in the place you are. Cold, angry, depressed, and filled with fear. Or take up your arms and charge towards the unknown.

Yes, this is a very tough challenge that will require absolute commitment and will require great sacrifice. But what's the alternative? Stay in that relatively safe but miserably trench you call life only to wait to death or madness to come for you. Maybe a lesser man would make that choice, but you're not one of them.

You may want to give it your best shot, and you'll naturally lean towards the set of behaviors that brough you success in the past. Seems to make sense, at least on the surface: "Do what you do best."

BUT THE RULES OF THE GAME HAVE CHANGED! This is a new drill! Your old methods will cripple and fail in the face of this new challenge. What good is relying on old tactics if they no longer serve you in this battlefield? They will have you convinced to try again, try harder only to have you focused on the wrong things.

Let's face it, if merely "doing what you do best" were enough to get you to your new goals, you would be making breakthroughs on a regular basis.

YOU MUST DO SOMETHING NEW. You must sidestep the trap of "Faith in the familiar." and chart a new path that, for you, at least, is new.

Doing the RIGHT things, even done imperfectly can lead to massive progress.

Doing the WRONG things, even done perfectly, will never deliver new dreams.
